Oven Baked Chicken  

 

1 cup Aunt Jemima Original Pancake & Waffle Mix
1 handful Italian bread crumbs
Garlic (sprinkle to individual taste)
Butter or margarine

  1. Soak the chicken in cold water for approximately 1/2 hour. Remove the chicken from the water. Combine the Aunt Jemima pancake mix and Italian bread crumbs and put in shaker bag. Add the chicken one piece at a time to coat. Place the chicken on a cookie sheet. Add the garlic and dot each piece with butter. Do not cover. Bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees
  • As good as fried chicken but with less fat. It's also easy to make and a hit at pot luck dinners!
